Prayas Shrestha is a Chartered Accountant and the founding Proprietor of Prayas & Associates, Chartered Accountants, which he established in 2016. He holds dual professional membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), along with a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) and an LLB.
With over 15 years of post-qualification experience, he has led audit, tax, and advisory engagements across banks and financial institutions, cooperatives, NGOs and INGOs, hospitals, hydropower companies, manufacturing firms, and multinational subsidiaries operating in Nepal.
Building on this foundation, he is extending the firm's practice into international outsourcing, offering bookkeeping, financial reporting, and fractional CFO services to businesses across the globe, supported by a working knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements.
